Romney Campaign Launches New Hampshire Small Business Owners for Romney

Boston, MA – Today, the Romney campaign launched New Hampshire Small Business Owners for Romney at an event in Manchester, NH attended by small business owners Fred Kfoury, Jack Gilchrist, Al Letizio, and New Hampshire Rep. Laurie Sanborn. The coalition of over 150 individuals is made up of men and women in all ten New Hampshire counties and 60 towns.

“President Obama claims to be leading a recovery, but he doesn’t understand the needs of our small businesses – the backbone of our economy.” said Jack Gilchrist, Owner of Gilchrist Metal Fabricating. “He has not been a job creator in the private sector and fundamentally doesn’t understand how businesses need to be encouraged, not hampered. Mitt Romney understands the importance of meeting with job creators, and he understands the basis for their recommendations and actions. Governor Romney has a demonstrated record that proves he is comfortable listening to and working with all parties involved to draft a course of action which will most effectively get the job done. It’s a clear choice: Mitt Romney will champion small business and will get this nation’s engine going again, creating jobs across the country and strengthening the middle class.”

Small business owners realize that this election is a choice between two very different visions for our nation’s future. The policies of President Obama have crippled job creators, and business owners know they cannot afford another four years like the last four years. For instance, nearly three-quarters of small business owners blame Obamacare for hurting job creation, and President Obama’s calls for increased taxes on job creators have left businesses hesitant to hire and grow. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are offering exactly what our nation needs—real reforms for a real recovery that will strengthen the middle class and create 12 million jobs across the country - 59,000 in New Hampshire.
