New Hampshire chapter represents over 60,000 Granite State residents
Manchester, NH – After meeting with both candidates, the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire (HBRANH) today endorsed Ovide Lamontagne for Governor.
Russ Collins, owner of Collins Home Innovations Corp. in Sandown and the Chairman of the HBRANH Government Affairs Committee offered the endorsement, saying, "Ovide’s economic agenda and personal experience with issues related to our industry give us confidence he will be a governor we can work with as someone who understands the importance of our industry and its role in New Hampshire’s economy. We believe he is the best choice to lead our state in its quest for economic revitalization.”
The HBRANH was founded in 1952 and represents residential building and remodeling companies and employees through nine local associations across the state. The New Hampshire chapter has a combined membership of nearly 1,100 companies, employing over 60,000 residents.
“I am grateful for the endorsement and the support of the hardworking women and men of the HBRANH,” said Lamontagne. "A strong and vibrant housing market, supported by the employers and employees of the HBRANH, is critical to New Hampshire’s economy and will be key to getting our economy going and putting our friends and neighbors back to work. I look forward to working with the HBRANH and their member companies and employees as governor to make New Hampshire the best place in the nation to live, work, and own a business."
Lamontagne was also recently endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Business, the country’s leading advocate for small business owners representing over 1,700 companies in New Hampshire, as well as the New Hampshire/Vermont Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, representing over 250 companies and nearly 15,000 employees working in or in support of commercial and industrial construction.
