Committed to “protecting our Second Amendment freedoms and hunting heritage”
Litchfield, NH – During a rally at the Londonderry Fish and Game Club, Ovide Lamontagne, candidate for Governor, today accepted the endorsement of the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund.
“Ovide Lamontagne is committed to protecting our Second Amendment freedoms and hunting heritage,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. “Because of his strong support of our rights, Lamontagne has received an “A-” rating and endorsement from the NRA-PVF. The choice for gun owners in this election is clear. Ovide Lamontagne will respect our right to self-defense and honor our rich hunting heritage. Maggie Hassan will not,” concluded Cox.
Lamontagne’s opponent, former Sen. Maggie Hassan, earned a “D” rating from the NRA-PVF for opposing our Right to Keep and Bear Arms, the organization said.
“As a long-time member of the NRA and an active hunter, I am honored to receive this endorsement,” said Lamontagne. “Unlike Sen. Hassan, who has taken blatantly anti-second amendment positions, raised taxes and fees on our sportsmen and women, and raided funds dedicated to preserving our lands and trails, I will be a fighter for our Constitutional rights as well as for the protection of our natural resources and open lands.”
