A FLAILING CAMPAIGN: SHEA-PORTER'S TEAM CAUGHT STEALING GUINTA SIGNS

“We hope yesterday’s desperate tactics aren’t a sign of what we can expect from Shea-Porter in the final 11 days of her floundering campaign.”

(Manchester – October 26, 2012) Yesterday afternoon, a supporter of former Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter was caught stealing Guinta for Congress yard signs in Seabrook. After stealing them, he was photographed replacing them with yard signs for Carol Shea-Porter and other Democrat candidates. By looking at the pictures, you will notice that the individual is an involved supporter with Democrat campaigns as he had large 4/8 signs for Democrat candidates in the back of his vehicle and bumper stickers for Shea-Porter for Congress, Bill Duncan for Executive Council, and Maggie Hassan for Governor on the side of his vehicle.

Photos of the individual stealing the signs and replacing them can be viewed here on our Facebook page. If you are unable to view them there, I
can provide them to you via email if you email me back.

Mark Laliberte, a Republican consultant caught the man and took the photos. He also confronted the individual and reported it to the Seabrook police who have contacted the man.

Derek Dufresne, Spokesman for Guinta for Congress released the following statement:

“It’s a shame that when flailing campaigns get desperate, they resort to unnecessary tactics such as stealing signs in the final days before an election.

“Considering the type of campaign Carol Shea-Porter has run with countless lies and distortions, dirty politics such as stealing campaign signs isn’t much of a stretch for the former Congresswoman’s team. We hope yesterday’s desperate tactics aren’t a sign of what we can expect from Shea-Porter in the final 11 days of her floundering campaign.”
