MANCHESTER – Maggie Hassan released the following statement today urging safety ahead of and during the expected severe weather. Hassan will be limiting campaign events in order to protect the safety of citizens and volunteers, and to avoid interfering with any emergency response efforts:
“I strongly encourage all New Hampshire residents to take every precaution ahead of the upcoming storm and to heed the warnings of emergency personnel. Please check in on your neighbors, especially the elderly and people who experience disabilities, to ensure they are prepared for any impact, including potential power outages. And unless it’s absolutely necessary to leave, please stay at home or in a safe place until the storm has passed. New Hampshire is an all hands on deck kind of state, and I know we will all look out for one another’s safety as we weather this storm.”
