RNC - New Hampshire Race: Dead Heat

In the past three polls from WMUR/UNH, President Obama has gone from +15, to +6, to dead even as of the newest poll this evening. The trend is clearly going for Mitt Romney, who he will change the nation’s course, get us to a balanced budget, create jobs and deliver more take-home pay. Under Mitt Romney, Real Change will begin on Day One.

Granite State Poll: Presidential race in a dead heat

November 3, 2012

With just three days before the election, a new WMUR Granite State Poll shows the presidential race is a dead heat in New Hampshire.

President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney are each expected to get 47 percent of the votes, according to the poll. Two percent of voters polled said they will choose another candidate and 4 percent remain undecided.

The survey from the University of New Hampshire Survey Center has a 4.4 percent margin of error.

New Hampshire is considered a battleground state, making it a popular campaign stop during the last few days before the election. Obama will appear at a rally Sunday in Concord, while Romney was in Portsmouth on Saturday and will return on Monday for a rally featuring Kid Rock at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester.
