Voters for Manchester's Future - Launched!

New Grassroots PAC Launches in Manchester

As first reported in Sunday's New Hampshire Union Leader, a new political action committee has formed in the city of Manchester to be involved in the 2013 city elections.

Here's the headline:
"New group aims to bring new blood to city's elections, political sceneand begins,

"Voters for Manchester's Future is the brainchild of Queen City residents Tyler Deaton, a lobbyist and board member of the New Hampshire Young Republicans, Sarah Crawford Stewart, a political consultant, and Mike Skelton, a familiar voice for those of us in the media as spokesman for Public Service of New Hampshire. Skelton, who will serve as the group's chairman, is also on the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and was a past chairman of the Manchester Young Professionals Network."

The new PAC is preparing to be heavily involved in the upcoming School Board and Aldermen races. Manchester is at a crossroads and we are committed to unlocking the city's full potential and ushering in an economic, educational and cultural renaissance.

Together, we plan to recruit and support leaders who will move our great city successfully into the future.

Mike Skelton announced the PAC and outlined its goals, “
Voters for Manchester’s Future is a nonpartisan grassroots effort to amplify what’s great about this city and plan for the future. Our focus is on building a coalition of like-minded people who are ready to tackle and solve big problems in a way that puts Manchester first. Over the next several months we will recruit and support community leaders to run for public office who will work to make our schools and our business climate the best in the state.”

Do you have ideas for improving this city? Do you know someone who should run for public office? Your participation will make the difference.
