About Marriage

Dear Friend,

You’ve seen the headlines.

On TV, in the papers, and online, the news is everywhere: liberal social activists with deep pockets are forcing gay marriage on citizens in states all across the country.

Wealthy gay marriage activists are lobbying to make gay marriage the law of the land – even in states where voters do not want it!

Here at home, these gay marriage lobbyists are fighting efforts to restore traditional marriage in New Hampshire.  They’re dusting off the old playbook, using divisive, poll-tested talking points to pit neighbor versus neighbor to protect the flawed gay marriage law they bought and paid for in 2009.

Thanks to you, it isn’t working.  Here’s why:

  • The people of New Hampshire know that gay marriage lobbyists are citing “the economy” as an excuse to oppose HB 437, the common sense legislation that restores the traditional definition of marriage, while restoring civil unions for same sex couples in New Hampshire.
  • We know that national gay marriage lobbyists and activist front groups like Standing Up for New Hampshire Families brazenly lobbied for 2009’s gay marriage law amidst the worst fiscal crisis since the Great Depression.
  • We know that, in 2009, they were lobbying for gay marriage in the Democratic led legislature BEFORE lawmakers even presented a state budget.
  • And, we know that today’s economy is hurting while national activists continue to force gay marriage on citizens in dozens of states across our nation.

We know the truth about gay marriage lobbyists fighting the restoration of marriage.

Now its time the politicians got the message! Urge them to vote YES on HB 437!
