GOP Campaign Veteran Brings Experience and Expertise to the Bass Effort

Concord, NH- Congressman Charlie Bass’ (R-NH-02) campaign has hired a rising star in New Hampshire’s political campaign arena, B.J. Perry of Liberty Strategies & Development.

Perry, 29, has been helping New Hampshire Republicans win campaigns since 2001, starting as a grassroots activist and field organizer, and then serving on the federal staffs of U.S. Senator John E. Sununu and U.S. Senator Judd Gregg.   In 2004, he served Gregg’s campaign as Field Director.

Perry recently completed his tenure as Field Director for the NH Republican State Committee under the chairmanship of Governor John H. Sununu. During his time at the State Committee, he crafted campaigns that saw Republican candidates win seven out of the eight special elections.

His success organizing victorious campaigns over recent years has led both The New Hampshire Union Leader and WMUR’s Primary Scoop to call him a “wunderkind.”

“BJ Perry is a young, but experienced campaign winner,” said Congressman Bass.  “He knows New Hampshire Republicans at the grassroots level as well as anyone, and he will be a tremendous asset to our team.”

In mid 2010, Perry was hired by the Republican National Committee to serve as NH Victory Director.  In that capacity, Perry coordinated the statewide effort which helped lead to the largest Republican landslide victory in New Hampshire campaign history. The massive Republican gains included turning the New Hampshire House from a 180-seat GOP minority to a 290-seat majority.  In the 24-member NH Senate, Republicans jumped from ten to nineteen members. Republicans, including Bass, won both of NH’s U.S. House of Representatives seats, Gregg’s U.S. Senate Seat, and all five seats on the NH Executive Council.

Perry is a resident of Manchester, founder of Liberty Strategies & Development, LLC, and the Director of Operations at KRL Electronics.
