Bass for Congress Hires Experienced NH Grassroots Organizer as Campaign Manager

Concord, NH - Congressman Charlie Bass’ (R-NH-02) campaign has hired New Hampshire native and resident, Brad Blais, to serve as Campaign Manager.

Blais began his career on the re-election campaign of Senator John E. Sununu in 2008, serving as Assistant to Campaign Manager Paul Collins.  Blais again teamed up with Collins in 2010, serving as Deputy Campaign Manager for Sean Mahoney’s Congressional bid in New Hampshire’s First District.

Following the 2010 primary, Blais joined the general election campaign of Congressman Charlie Bass as the Field Director.  Blais managed the day-to-day operations of the campaign, with a focus on building the field organization that propelled Bass to victory despite being outspent two to one by his opponent.

“Brad Blais helped guide our campaign's grassroots operation through the stretch run in 2010,” said Congressman Bass.  “His experience and leadership continue to be a tremendous asset to our team, and I am confident that Brad will execute a strategy that leads to a victory in November.”

Blais is a founding partner, along with Paul Collins, of cb strategies, llc, a political strategy and consulting firm. Following the 2010 elections, Bass hired cb strategies to manage his grassroots organizing efforts during the off year.  Blais will be working with BJ Perry, who the campaign recently hired as a consultant, to build the state's strongest grassroots campaign and GOTV operation.

Most recently, along with Collins, Blais served as a consultant to the Presidential campaign of former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, advising the organization and grassroots efforts for New Hampshire’s First-in-the-Nation Primary.
