Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce Honors Local Business
Hampton, NH – The Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual awards dinner last night, honoring area businesses and individuals who have succeeded and made a difference in the community. We are proud to announce The 401 Tavern was chosen as Business of the Year during the event!
Owners Mark LaRoche and Dan “Desi” Lanio first opened “The 401” on March 12, 2009 and it was quickly welcomed by the community. Now, “The 401” sits as a landmark of downtown Hampton.
“We are humbled and excited to be honored by The Chamber of Commerce and our fellow business leaders with this award,” Lanio said. “I have lived and worked in Hampton for more than 20 years and am so proud of the great restaurants and businesses our small town has to offer. There is truly a feeling of partnership among the business owners in this town, and a feeling of family with our patrons.”
“The 401” and its owners are proud to be involved in several community and charitable events, helping to grow the industry in the area and to assist in various community needs.
“The good fortune and success we have achieved is thanks to this town and its people and we are always honored to give back any way we can,” LaRoche noted.
Over the past three years, “The 401” has evolved and now offers varying experiences depending on the style and mood of the patron—be it in the sports bar, the tavern or ever popular wine loft.
“The 401” is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and Sunday’s for brunch. You can find out more about its daily changing tapas menu and other specialty events and items by going to the website at www.the401tavern.com.
