NH DHHS - NHH Staff to Receive Helping Hand Award from Concord Fire Department

Heroic Actions Save Co-worker’s Life

Concord, NH – Three New Hampshire Hospital (NHH) staff members will be

recognized by the Concord Fire Department at 8 AM on Thursday, April 19th,

for helping to save a co-worker’s life. The Concord Fire Department is

awarding NHH’s Campus Police Chief and two of the Hospital’s Nurse

Coordinators with the Helping Hands Award. The three will be honored for

the actions they took last June, working together to deliver basic life

support that helped save a colleague’s life. Every year, the Concord Fire

Department nominates community members to receive this award which reflects

the highest honor the Department can bestow to citizens who act valiantly.

Members of the Fire Department will present the award to NHH Campus Police

Chief Frank Harris, Nurse Coordinator e Anita Downs, and Nurse Coordinator

Justin Souther at 8 AM, Thursday, April 19th at a ceremony at New Hampshire
