The Poetry Society of New Hampshire will host a reading by Maren Tirabassi on Saturday, April 28th at Noon in the auditorium of the Manchester City Library, 405 Pine Steet, Manchester, NH 03104. Maren, who has served as Poet Laureate of Portsmouth, when she edited the anthology, Portsmouth Unabridged, New Poems for an Old City is the author of seventeen books including Gifts in Open Hands
– More Resources for the Global Community. Maren travels throughout the country facilitating workshops on creative worship, youth ministry and liturgical writing. She teaches memoir writing and poetry in a wide range of settings from high school to senior center, correctional facility to ESOL class. She is the Pastor of Union Congregational Church in Madbury, NH. Prior to her noontime reading, at 11AM, members of the society will read their work. All are welcome. The event is free and open to the public.

The Poetry Society of New Hampshire is a non profit membership organization dedicated to the promotion of poetry.
