Juan Williams - Join me on Thursday

The Illinois Policy Institute welcomes Juan Williams on April 5

While Noble Street College Prep teachers are busy pursuing an educational mission, the Chicago Teachers Union is busy protesting in the streets. And for what? To protect a patronage system? To safeguard the union’s turf and influence? And to ensure bigger paychecks despite poor performance? If the Chicago Teachers Union would put as much effort into improving as they do into protesting, then perhaps Chicago wouldn’t be so burdened by violence, crime and the lack of upward economic mobility, all borne of bad schools.

Please join me Thursday night to discuss this important topic.

Thank you,

Juan Williams

P.S. If you cannot make the event, the Illinois Policy Institute will be live-streaming the discussion. Visit www.illinoispolicy.org the day of the event for the link.
