As we have seen with RGGI, imposing new costs upon energy suppliers only results in increased costs for NH consumers. There will be a hearing on SB 218 tomorrow at 10:30AM in LOB 304. I urge you to tell the members of the Committee to oppose this piece of legislation before they meet tomorrow morning.

Second, yesterday the Senate Commerce Committee held a hearing on HB 1677, the Right-to-Work bill that passed the House in March. We will continue to keep you informed of the status of this important legislation that will empower NH workers.
Finally, two weeks from Friday, Americans for Prosperity Foundation-NH will honor U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte as our 2012 Conservative of the Year.
The event will be held on Friday, April 20 at the Grappone Center in Concord and will begin with a reception at 6PM followed by the dinner at 7PM.
Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.conservativeoftheyear.org.
I hope you will join me and special VIPs including Senate Republican Conference Chairman John Thune in honoring Senator Ayotte.
I hope to see you on April 20th!
