BARRINGTON – Day after day, they are a demonstration of the good things our government routinely accomplishes for us. Letter carriers serve as a daily reminder of the way that government bring us together, helps businesses large and small manage their business, and keeps people in touch for pennies. Today, Jackie's campaign for governor is proud to announce that Jackie has received the endorsement of the NH State Association of Letter Carriers.
"On the personal communications side I was reminded just the other day of how valuable our letter carriers are. I opened my mailbox to find an envelope addressed to me from my six year old grandson. Inside was a lovingly handcrafted invitation to the Mother's Day Tea at his school. That card and envelope, thanks to our letter carriers, are now part of my memorabilia file to remind me of these days when he is grown.” says Cilley. “Few people work harder for the taxpayers than our letter carriers and I'm very happy to have earned their support."
"Having come from humble beginnings like most letter carriers, worked hard for a college degree and acquired much business acumen from running a business and serving in two terms in the New Hampshire Senate legislature puts you in a league were we believe you can lead this state to a more business and worker friendly environment," said NH State Association of Letter Carriers' Wayne Alterisio. "I put my Jackie Cilley Governor lawn sign up on Mother’s Day. "
