Jackie and leading opponent statistically tied and Jackie well-positioned against GOP candidates
The PPP poll confirms what our research has shown and what we’ve heard from people across the state – this race is wide open and Jackie Cilley is the best candidate to keep the Governor's Office in Democratic hands in November. The response Jackie has received has been the same from Berlin to Bedford, from Portsmouth to Peterborough – She's the best candidate to fight the O'Brien Tea Party/GOP agenda and to increase the tempo of New Hampshire's recovery.
"This poll proves what we've known all along: This race is wide open and will be won by the person who best demonstrates that they can move New Hampshire's economy forward, focus on education and jobs, and return common sense to Concord," said Jackie Cilley.
The poll, conducted by respected national firm Public Policy Polling, shows a statistical dead heat between Jackie Cilley and chief primary opponent, former state senator Maggie Hassan. Jackie is tied with likely Republican candidate Ovide Lamontagne.
