US Rep Bass to Congratulate State Finalist in Doodle 4 Google Competition

HOLLIS, NH – Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at 9:55, Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) will participate in a school assembly at Hollis Primary School to congratulate the state finalist in the nationwide Doodle 4 Google Competition.

The Doodle 4 Google Competition is an annual contest sponsored by Google for students in the United States to redesign Google’s homepage logo.  This year’s theme is “If I could travel in time, I’d visit…”  The nationwide winner will have his or her artwork appear as the logo for the Google homepage for a day and will also have it appear on a limited edition of Crayola’s 64-count box.  The winner also receives a $30,000 college scholarship and his or her school will receive a $50,000 technology grant.  For more information, please visit
