BERLIN, NH – On Thursday, May 24, 2012, starting at 1:30 p.m., Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) will make a number of stops in Berlin to meet with constituents and tour local businesses.
1:30 p.m.: Speak to students at Berlin Middle School and answer questions about serving in Congress and other topics. Berlin Middle School is located at 200 State Street in Berlin.
2:30 p.m.: Tour the Berlin Biomass Plant with Carl Belanger. The plant is located at 1 Community Street (Gate 2) in Berlin. (PLEASE NOTE: members of the media are not allowed on the tour but may speak to Congressman Bass before or after the event at the gate).
3:40 p.m.: Visit Presby Steel with owner Dave Presby. The company recently purchased the assets of Isaacson Steel, Inc. and will continue to invest in the region. Presby Steel is located at 143 East Milan Road in Berlin.
4:50 p.m.: Visit Caron Building Supply with owner Mike Caron. The family-owned business has been providing high-quality building and construction supplies for residential and commercial clients since 1974. Caron Building Supply is located at 39 Union Street in Berlin.
