CONCORD – House Speaker William O’Brien (R-Mont Vernon) today offered the following statement in response to the news that Rep. Norman Tregenza (R-Madison) has resigned, as he has moved from his district to neighboring Conway.
House Speaker William O’Brien
“Norman Tregenza has been an asset to the House as a hard-working member of both the Judiciary and Fish & Game Committees. He has been an active participant in a number of debates and we are sad to lose him as a representative due to him moving to a new community. However, Norm has indicated that he may well be a candidate for state representative in either his new underlying district that includes Conway or for the floaterial district that would include both his new and old communities. I wish him good luck and understand that he may well be rejoining the House later this year.”
