The Manchester Arts Commission is proud to announce a diverse collection of work from different levels in our local public school system. On display at City Hall from May to the end of June.
Manchester School District’s Middle Schools students accepted the challenge of developing a Mascot to represent the theme of Sustainability Manchester. The winning entries from each school will be on display. Sponsoring this contest and program is, ARAMARK Engineering Solutions.
Photovoice, a research study conducted in Manchester from January 2011 to January 2012 is a research process that gives cameras to teens and asks them to take photos that tell a story of their neighborhood and things that are important in their lives.
Recycled Projects, created by McDonough Elementary School third graders. The students used recycled items and their imaginations to create something new. This was a month long project that was inspired by how pollution can affect plants and animals, and how they could encourage other students to do something positive for the environment.
Exhibits are open to public and free of charge. Exhibition space is located on the first floor in both the East and West wings of Manchester City Hall, 1 City Hall Plaza. Contact City Hall for hours of operation. Handicap accessible.
