Shea-Porter statement on the 112th Congress

New Hampshire- Today, former Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter, who is running for Congress in the First Congressional District, released the following statement about Congressman Frank Guinta filling for office today for the Congressional First District.

“The 110th and 111th Congresses were called the most productive since Roosevelt.  By contrast, Congressman Frank Guinta and his colleagues have been called the “do-nothing” Congress.   There are two reasons.  First, they take too much vacation.  Second, their Republican Leader, Speaker John Boehner, said right from the beginning that they would not compromise, and they haven’t.  Voters will have a clear choice in November.”
