American Committment - Ayotte Tested
Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 09:41AM Fellow conservative --
On Wednesday the U.S. Senate will vote on stopping Obama’s War on Coal, and New Hampshire’s Kelly Ayotte could hold the key to the outcome. She is one of the last undecided senators on a vote that can’t be filibustered and will be down to the wire.
If the outrageous Utility MACT rule isn't stopped, electricity prices across the country will spike and tens of thousands will be put out of work. Obama will be emboldened to move forward with an agenda that he himself explained would make electricity prices “necessarily skyrocket” and make it so that “if somebody wants to build a coal plant, they can — it’s just that it will bankrupt them.”
New Hampshirites have spent hundreds of millions of dollars installing pollution control equipment at Merrimack Station – money that will be wasted if we don’t hold the line against an Obama administration that is determined to kill coal.
We can't let that happen. Take action now.
Yours truly,
Phil Kerpen
President
American Commitment
P.S. We need to mobilize as many New Hampshirites as possible to tell Senator Ayotte that we care about this vote. Please forward this email to your friends and neighbors, and post it on Facebook and Twitter. Thank you!
