(CONCORD) The Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy, New Hampshire's leading free market think tank, announced today the election of Gordon MacDonald as Secretary and Peter Clark as Treasurer. The Center Board of Directors unanimously chose MacDonald and Clark for the positions at its most recent meeting.
"Gordon MacDonald and Peter Clark bring incredible talent and dedication to the Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy," said Chairman Rich Ashooh. "We are thrilled to have such outstanding individuals step up to take greater responsibility with New Hampshire's leading free-market think tank."
MacDonald is a partner at the Nixon Peabody law firm in Manchester. He is also the author of a multi-volumne treatise on civil procedure in New Hampshire courts, relied on by attorneys across the state. MacDonald serves as Chair of the New Hampshire Board of Bar Examiners, and heads up his office's pro-bono efforts, which focus on helping victims of domestic violence and at-risk children.
Clark is the Founder and CEO of Amherst Equipment Corporation, a leading reseller of computer equipment and services with offices in New Hampshire, Florida, and California. He lives in New Boston with his wife and two children.
