Manchester, NH - Ovide Lamontagne, Republican candidate for Governor, released the following statement after the second of back-to-back Republican primary debates:
“I want to thank the hosts and sponsors of the two recent Republican debates, and I look forward to continuing this conversation with New Hampshire voters throughout the summer and into the fall.
“Our state is at a crossroads. The Democratic candidates for governor have no credibility on the issues of most concern to our voters today. Despite election year conversions designed to appeal to the political center, the records of Maggie Hassan and Jackie Cilley on tax policy, health care and education reform, and a host of other issues show they will advocate for policies that will lead us in the wrong direction and harm New Hampshire’s economy.
“I know New Hampshire and I believe we can be the most exceptional state in the country. As governor, I will bring over 25 years of New Hampshire based, conservative, leadership experience to Concord and I pledge to work every day towards getting our economy back on track and making New Hampshire the best place in the country to run a business, raise a family, and to Live Free or Die.”
