Hassan to Launch Ice Cream Social Tour Across New Hampshire

Tour will Stop in Nine Towns and Cities Throughout August

MANCHESTER – Building on her strong momentum, including last week’s endorsement from President Bill Clinton, Democratic candidate for Governor Maggie Hassan today announced her campaign’s Ice Cream Social Tour where she will continue her grassroots outreach to voters and ice cream lovers across New Hampshire. Hassan’s tour will hit nine cities and towns – starting in Nashua this Saturday August 5th and ending in Berlin on August 30th with many stops in between.

“Whether it’s in a living room, local diner, or at one of our Ice Cream Socials, we are continuing the New Hampshire tradition of taking our campaign directly to voters,” said Hassan.  “I’m looking forward to having some ice cream with old friends and new ones as we talk about why I’m running for Governor, how we can stand up to the extreme Republicans who want to move our state backward and how we can move New Hampshire forward in the future.”

Hassan spent much of the last year meeting voters across New Hampshire, including holding more than 60 house parties that brought her from Kingston to Westmoreland and Jefferson to New London.

Hassan’s campaign is inviting voters from each region to attend the events in their community.  Voters interested in attending one of the socials can RSVP online at individual RSVP pages at MaggieHassan.com.
