First, last Wednesday we were proud to unveil our 2012 Anti-tax Pledge. More than 100 candidates and elected officials signed the pledge at our event demonstrating their commitment to lower taxes, smaller government and less regulation. Among those taking the pledge on day one were gubernatorial candidates Ovide Lamontagne and Kevin Smith as well as Speaker of the NH House Bill O’Brien. Secondly, as you may recall, AFP-NH filed a Right to Know request with Durham Town Administrator, Todd Selig, asking that he release the details of the anonymous donation to the town that paid for the additional security costs for President Obama’s campaign stop there last week. We have been in touch with Town Administrator Selig and will keep you posted on the status of our request.
