Obama's Medicare Cuts Devastating to Seniors in the Granite State
Concord, NH- Today as President Obama campaigns in the Granite State, we are reminded of what his Medicare cuts will do to our seniors as he continues his campaign of lies and deceit. 22,000 seniors were dropped from the popular Medicare Advantage Program, and 7,600 Medicare Advantage programs were discontinued in New Hampshire due to funding cuts under the new health care law.
So, President Obama, since you're coming to New Hampshire today to explain to the citizens why you should be reelected, why don't you tell the truth. Tell the truth that your Affordable Health Care Act cut over $700 billion dollars from health care programs that cover the needs of seniors' health care.
"When the President campaigned in 2008, he said to the people of New Hampshire he would tell them what they need to hear, not what they want to hear," said New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Wayne MacDonald. "Why should we give him a second chance when unemployment has stayed at 8 percent and the economy isn't improving? Obama should stop the lies that continue to spew from his campaign and finally tell the truth about his cuts to Medicare and where that $700 billion dollars is going instead."
