Campaign gains momentum across the state
Concord – Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jackie Cilley submitted her second financial PAC reports with the Secretary of State this afternoon in Concord. With her community-based campaign built on local donors, Jackie Cilley has raised $281,761 which includes contributions from Jackie Cilley for NH, Friends of Jackie Cilley and in-kind donations.
"The success of this campaign demonstrates one thing that has been a constant in my life – the ability to stretch a dollar. As a mother of five and a small business owner, I had to learn how to amplify a dollar or I wouldn't have been able to make ends meet. I am doing this in my campaign and will continue to do so as governor," Jackie commented.
For this reporting period, ninety five percent of supporters live in New Hampshire; 84.5% contributed $100 or less; 58% contributed $50 or less. Since Jackie announced her candidacy in February, she has been pleased with the growing momentum and support she is receiving from across the State.
Some other highlights from this period's report include:
• August has been the best fundraising month of the campaign, with ten days left
• The four days since the campaign's ads went on the air have been the best of the campaign
• As of today, we have had over 500 individual donors this month
• In the two months since our last filing, we have had more donors than during the first four months of the campaign
The five pubic polls conducted since the spring (two PPP, Rasmussen, and two UNH/Granite State) demonstrate that Jackie can win the governor’s race in November.
