Shea-Porter offers Debate Compromise

New Hampshire In an effort to bring the Congressional debates to the people of the First District, Carol Shea-Porter has offered Congressman Frank Guinta a compromise.

Naomi Andrews, Campaign Manager for Candidate Carol Shea-Porter, released the following statement:

“We are sorry that Congressman Frank Guinta has again chosen to pass up the traditional debate at the Temple Adath Yeshurun in his hometown of Manchester, but in the interest of compromise, Carol Shea-Porter has agreed to drop the request for him to honor that commitment.  She asks Frank Guinta to accept the Chamber of Commerce offer for a debate in or near her hometown of Rochester, and she will accept the State Chamber of Commerce, the Business & Industry Association (BIA), debate at St. Anselm’s Institute of Politics.”
