US Rep Bass to Attend VFW Picnic in Winchester, Tour Nashua Fish Hatchery with Mayor Lozeau

Saturday, August 4, 2012, 10:00 a.m. & Monday, August 6, 2012, 9:00 a.m.

WINCHESTER, NH – On Saturday, August 4, 2012, Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) will attend the Veterans of Foreign Wars picnic in Winchester, and on Monday, August 6, 2012, Bass will tour the Nashua National Fish Hatchery with Nashua Mayor Donnalee Lozeau. 

Members of the media are welcome to attend the following events:

Saturday, August 4 at 10:00 a.m.: Attend the annual Department of New Hampshire Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) picnic in Winchester.  The picnic will be held at the Winchester VFW Post 3968, located at 35 Main Street in Winchester.

Monday, August 6 at 9:00 a.m.: Visit the Nashua National Fish Hatchery with Nashua Mayor Donnalee Lozeau.  The Fish Hatchery supports Atlantic salmon, American shad, and other species restoration efforts in the Merrimack River, and also conducts watershed education programs with schools and civic scouting groups in the area.  The Nashua National Fish Hatchery is located at 151 Broad Street in Nashua.
