CEI.org: Coalition Letter to the U.S. Senate Urges Support for Rubio Resolution on Tax Competition
A new IRS regulation requires banks to report on deposit interest payments made to nonresident aliens. CEI signed a coalition letter urging the Senate to support Sen. Rubio's resolution of disapproval, S.J. Res. 46. Experts predict the IRS requirement will result in a loss of foreign investment in the U.S. and have significant economic impact on the U.S. economy and job creation. Openmarket.org: Unions Claim Moral High Ground, Kick Off Sleazy Smear Campaign
UNITE-HERE, the nation’s largest hospitality union, has assembled a new coalition of pro-union organizations to target Hyatt hotels with the goal of organizing the chain’s entire workforce.
The union, with the support of the AFL-CIO and NFL Players Association, is threatening to tarnish Hyatt’s reputation, portraying it as unfair to workers.
