This issue of the Bass Report comes from the North Country as I tour the region today and tomorrow to visit small businesses and talk with New Hampshire citizens about the issues important to them. As a frequent visitor to the North Country, I understand the vital role this region plays in our state's economy and the challenges that they also face. I understand the importance of strengthening the economy and creating jobs here and throughout New Hampshire by working to ensure small businesses can thrive and are not burdened with high taxes and over regulation.
I have also been an advocate for protecting the outdoor activities industry that brings this region jobs in all seasons, defended the clean air of the mountains and am a staunch supporter of securing the funding to open the new prison in Berlin. The North Country is a view of New Hampshire at its best and I will continue to work for prosperity in the region as well as throughout the Second District.
On the trail...
Yesterday, Charlie had the opportunity to speak to the Hollis Republicans and shared an important message; we must continue to work together! Many of you have been volunteering making calls, going door-to-door, and putting up signs. We want to thank you for your hard work but must ask that we all continue our efforts, united. It's going to take a lot of hard work over the next 67 days before the election and while Charlie will be going town-to-town and person-to-person, spreading his message of fiscal conservatism and common-sense solutions; he needs your help more than ever. Please click here to let us know how you can help!
