CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE
"As Chairman of the Young Republicans National Federation, I hear from young people all over the country, especially back home in Ohio. And times are bad under Barack Obama and his leadership."
That is why Young Republicans all over the country joined forces at the Republican National Convention. I addressed the convention about the lack of jobs for the next generation. Please watch my speech and share it with your friends and family. The text is here.
The speech was mentioned in the Wall Street Journal in a blogpost satisfyingly titled "GOP Women Blast Obama's Policies."
I then joined the panel "Conversations with the Next Generation" sponsored by The Atlantic, The National Journal, and Microsoft. Held both at the DNC and RNC, the panels encouraged dialogue on issues facing America's young and emerging workforce.
All of the exposure for the Young Republicans was wonderful but the important point is that we are fighting to elect Governor Mitt Romney. Therefore I am pleased to announce that our first YRNF deployment is happening this weekend in Virginia. Please see details below.
"We're ready for change. We're ready to elect Governor Mitt Romney."

The swing states need our help! That is why the Chicago and Virginia Young Republicans joined forces in Cleveland, Ohio during the weekend of August 17th for a deployment. Over 2,000 doors were knocked and 1,500 calls were made. Good job everyone!
And this weekend the first official YRNF deployment is in action in the swing state of Virginia. We are door knocking with the DCYRs and YRFV in Charlottesville, Virginia. Special thanks to DCYR Chair Katie Todd, DCYR National Committeeman Stephen Jackson, and Virginia Chairman John Scott for their efforts this weekend.

Action in the Northeast!
Brian Griffiths
The Northeast Region is where a lot of the action is between now and election day. We are extremely excited for all of the great candidates that we have, especially at the state level. The Northeast Region is home to a number of Senate Candidates who can win, including incumbent U.S. Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts and a number of great challengers, including YR Dan Bongino in Maryland, Tom Smith in Pennsylvania, Wendy Long in New York, Linda McMahon in Connecticut, Joe Kyrillos in New Jersey, and Charlie Summers in Maine. A number of these candidates have the capability of unseating incumbent Democratic Senators or winning open U.S. Senate seats. With your help, several of these candidates will be U.S. Senators.
