It has been a busy week with veterans and media across the state fighting back against former Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter’s negative and false attacks on Frank Guinta’s strong support for our nation's veterans. Today, the Nashua Telegraph’s Politifact even rated her ad as “Mostly False” and said “Carol Shea-Porter distorts Frank Guinta’s record on veterans programs.”
If you haven’t caught her first TV commercial, in it, she accuses Frank Guinta of cutting funding for veterans' programs. Nothing could be further from the truth. Frank believes our country’s heroes are a top priority and has consistently voted to support our veterans.
In response, veterans from around New Hampshire came to Frank’s defense with a press conference on Monday. Fosters Daily Democrat printed a hard-hitting editorial, and some of the most well-respected military veterans from the Seacoast made their voices heard in both the Union Leader and in Fosters Daily Democrat.
Despite all this, the ad is still on the air. That’s why we need your help to fight back against Carol Shea-Porter’s untrue attacks on Frank before we hit an important fundraising deadline on Sunday.
