NHGOP STATEMENT ON MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY

Concord, NH- New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Wayne MacDonald released the following statement commemorating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

"As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., let us not forget his values that he shared with a nation that he, one day, hoped would be equal. Let us not forget that he dreamed we'd one day be a nation where individuals would 'not be judged based on the color of their skin but by the content of their character.' Dr. King sought an end to injustice, and although we are a better nation, there is much work to be done to ensure equality and justice for everyone.  As we go through our day, let us remain steadfast in stopping the prejudice that still remains, and honor Dr. King's vision of our country."
