Concord, NH- Back in 2009, Carol Shea-Porter voted with Nancy Pelosi and Democrat Party leaders 98 percent of the time, according to the Washington Post. Well, one thing certainly has not changed: Congresswoman Shea-Porter's first votes back in Washington were lock step with the Democrat leaders. Continuing the mayhem that has ensued in Washington since April 2009, Shea-Porter voted against No Budget, No Pay yesterday.
"It's simple logic. In the business world, if you fail to do your job you don't get paid," said New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Wayne MacDonald. "Carol Shea-Porter is standing idly by while Harry Reid and Senate Democrats are failing to do their job and produce a budget, something that hasn't been done since April 2009. This is unacceptable and must be changed.
"When a person is elected to the Senate, they need to understand that their number one job is to produce a budget. The Senate has not filled this basic government responsibility, but Carol Shea-Porter believes that Americans' tax dollars should still go to their salaries even when they are not serving their constituents."
