Dan Innis, Dean of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire, Announces Run For Congress
Will seek the Republican nomination in NH CD-1
Manchester, NH - Dan Innis, the dean of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire, announced today that he is running for Congress in New Hampshire's 1st congressional district.
This is Dan's first run for elected office.
"The American Dream is at risk," said Dan Innis. "It is with understandable concern that we all watch events unfold in our nation's capitol. Will the president and Congress work together to solve the problems that are threatening our future? If the past few years are any guide, compromise will be hard to achieve."
"But I believe in our nation and I am confident that with the right leadership in Washington we can see our way to a bright future. That is why today I am announcing my candidacy."
Dan has served as dean of UNH's business school since 2007. He also co-owns Portsmouth's Ale House Inn with his husband, Doug Palardy. Innis resides in Portsmouth and is the proud father of three children Benjamin, Nicholas, and Emily.
Dan Innis continued, "Among my priorities as Congressman will be getting government spending under control, responsibly shrinking the size of government, and reforming our tax system."
