Lawsuit Challenges Constitutionality of Obamacare

A lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Obamacare is before a federal court on Tuesday. A group of small business owners and individuals in six states is suing the federal government over an IRS regulation imposed under the Affordable Care Act, which will force them to pay exorbitant fines, cut back employees’ hours, or severely burden their businesses. The Federal District Court in Washington, DC will hear arguments on the case tomorrow; the plaintiffs’ case will be argued by Mike Carvin. > Read more

Human Events: At Thanksgiving, big grocery & big labor attack competitor Wal-Mart

If you’re one of the millions of Americans who will visit a Wal-Mart on the biggest shopping weekend of the year, don’t be surprised if you encounter protestors agitating for “workers’ rights.”

The protestors are the Baptists in a Baptists-and-Bootleggers arrangement assembled by an outfit, Saint Consulting, where the goal, according to one company executive, “is always to kill Wal-Mart.”

And the reason the goal remains the same is because the bootlegger is not the labor movement but Wal-Mart’s competitors, who are spending millions of dollars to use these activists to throw sand into Wal-Mart’s corporate gears.

Globalwarming.org: Skeptical Science’s Hiroshima Bomb Bombast


SkepticalScience.Com this week unveiled a downloadable app that supposedly shows how fast heat is building up in the Earth’s climate system due to anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions. The metric chosen is Hiroshima bombs. The Earth, according to SkS’s app, is warming at the rate of four Hiroshima bombs per second or 400,000 Hiroshima bombs per day.
