Concord, NH- New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Jennifer Horn released the following statement in response to today's testimony before the Joint Health Care Reform Oversight Committee:
"The Hassan Administration’s testimony before the Joint Health Care Reform Oversight Committee today failed to demonstrate any real benefits of a partnership exchange and left even more unanswered questions about the substantial costs that it will impose on New Hampshire.
"Governor Hassan needs to be upfront with Granite Staters about the crushing regulatory burden and the devastating impact that a partnership will have on our state budget. Instead of working behind closed doors with Washington bureaucrats, the Governor must stand up for New Hampshire by openly addressing the bipartisan concerns voiced by our state legislators.
"ObamaCare represents the largest government takeover of a single industry in the history of our nation and will bring increased costs and decreased availability of health care to the Granite State. In order to protect New Hampshire families, Governor Hassan needs to immediately start working in a transparent and bipartisan manner with our legislature before she moves forward with the formation of a partnership exchange."
