NHGOP LAUNCHES WEBSITE FOCUSING ON HASSAN'S IRRESPONSIBLE BUDGET

Concord - The New Hampshire Republican State Committee today launched a new website that focuses on Governor Maggie Hassan's irresponsible budget and her decision to include $80 million in non-existent, illegal gambling revenue in her proposal. The website, www.nhbudget.com will serve as a resource for Granite Staters who want to learn more about the governor's failed fiscal leadership and her reckless plan.

"Governor Hassan is gambling with New Hampshire's future and constructing a fiscally irresponsible house of cards that could collapse at any minute. Her proposal is so reckless that even prominent Democrats including Attorney General Michael Delaney and House Finance Chairman Mary Jane Wallner are speaking out against it and call her plan a 'mistake'," said NHGOP Chairman Jennifer Horn. "New Hampshire deserves a governor who is willing to show leadership and propose a responsible budget that does not rely on phony, fraudulent and illegal gambling revenue to balance our books. Republicans are committed to exposing the devastating impact of the governor's budget and proposing real solutions to preserve the state's fiscal integrity and maintain the New Hampshire Advantage."

NHBudget.com will also feature an online petition that will allow Granite Staters to voice their objections to the governor's budget and call for a truly balanced budget.
