MILFORD, NH--Keith Stroup, founder of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws and author of the new book “It’s NORML to Smoke Pot,” will be appearing at J’s Tavern (63 Union Square) on Thursday, March 28, beginning at 6 p.m.
Stroup will recount tales from the origin of NORML, offer reflections on decades of friendship with the likes of Willie Nelson and Hunter S. Thompson, and tell you his opinion on the most recent victories for marijuana legalization, in both Washington and Colorado.
“This story is only incidentally about marijuana; it is really about personal freedom,” says Stroup about his book. This event is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase ($15) and personalized signing.
