KEENE – Governor Maggie Hassan will speak at the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce Civic Luncheon, where she will highlight how her balanced budget proposal will help build a stronger, more innovative New Hampshire.
Governor Hassan’s fiscally responsible, balanced budget proposal will help New Hampshire’s businesses grow and attract new companies with good jobs by doubling the R&D tax credit, funding business incubators, and providing businesses with technical support to help them enter new markets around the world.
To help New Hampshire’s people develop the skills needed for jobs in the innovation economy, the Governor’s proposal also substantially restores cuts made to New Hampshire’s public universities and community colleges in exchange for freezing in-state tuition for the next two years.
