NHDP - New NHDP Scott Brown Web-video: "Desperado"

New video highlights Scott Brown desperation to return to Washington to represent big oil, Wall Street instead of the middle class

Concord - Ahead of Scott Brown's trip to Keene this afternoon, the New Hampshire Democratic Party is launching a new web-video entitled 'desperado.'  The video highlights how Scott Brown is so desperate to return to the U.S. Senate to represent big oil and big banks instead of the middle class that he doesn't care what state he has to run from. [Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7P0T--CgB5E]

The trip comes just days after Brown's carpetbagger trial balloon was panned by New Hampshire citizens.  Public polling last week revealed that more than half of New Hampshire voters didn't want Brown to run for office in New Hampshire, nearly two thirds didn't consider him a Granite Stater, and he has a net unfavorable rating of almost 50%. The national media hasn't been much kinder, lampooning his desperate scheme as something between 'a really, really, bad idea,' and 'delusional.'

"The people who know Scott Brown's record of standing up for Wall Street instead of Main Street best rejected him last fall, and New Hampshire wouldn't be any different," said New Hampshire Democratic Party Communications Director Harrell Kirstein.  "Brown co-sponsored the Blunt Amendment which allowed employers to deny women preventive health care and contraception, voted against equal pay for equal work, and supported Paul Ryan's budget that turns Medicare to a voucher program and would cost seniors $6,400 a year, all to pay for tax cuts for the wealthiest. Those aren't New Hampshire values."
