(Portsmouth) Senator Martha Fuller Clark (D-Portsmouth) will join a group of activists from a national bus tour in support of taking action to stem climate changeTuesday morning. Clark, a long-time supporter of environmental causes including protection of the Great Bay, will speak at the rally to be held in the South Mill playground on Junkins avenue in Portsmouth. The event begins at 9:00 AM.
Vacationers and residents are invited to join Clark and two of her senate colleagues and the Portsmouth assistant Mayor when the “I Will Act on Climate” bus arrives in Portsmouth Tuesday August 13.A local tour of Portsmouth sites at risk to coastal storm surge and sea level rise will be part of the morning event.
