NHDP Statement on Jeb Bradley's Halfhearted Announcement for the U.S. Senate

Concord - New Hampshire Democratic Party Communications Director Harrell Kirstein released the following statement on former Congressman Jeb Bradley's halfhearted announcement that he is running for New Hampshire's U.S. Senate seat in 2014.

"Jeb Bradley will set us back instead of helping us get ahead, and that’s not the New Hampshire way.  In Congress and in Concord, Bradley voted to make it harder and more expensive for kids to get to college – that meansNew Hampshire would have a less educated workforce and less innovation when today’s businesses need more. Bradley voted against increasing the minimum wage 11 times and even voted to end the state minimum wage.  He wants to repeal health care reform so that insurance companies can call all the shots, allowing health insurance companies to charge seniors more for prescription drugs and deny coverage to anyone with a pre-existing condition.

"New Hampshire’s middle-class families need someone on their side and Jeb Bradley has proven time and again that he isn't."
