Concord - New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Jennifer Horn released the following statement today on a forum hosted by a liberal special interest group and Governor Maggie Hassan promoting Hillary Clinton's potential 2016 candidacy:
"Republicans are proud to be represented in Washington and in state houses across the nation by strong, fiscally conservative women like Senator Kelly Ayotte, Governor Nikki Haley and Governor Susana Martinez. They continue to promote responsible policies that will create jobs for working families and cut the crushing debt and deficits that Democrats have imposed on our children and grandchildren.
"Democrats like Hillary Clinton, Jeanne Shaheen, Maggie Hassan, Carol Shea-Porter and Annie Kuster have enthusiastically supported liberal policies that are hurting women. They have all called for more reckless government spending and higher taxes that will damage the middle class and decimate small businesses. They continue to champion ObamaCare even though it will force women in New Hampshire to give up their doctors and travel long distances to receive critical health care services.
"In 2014 and 2016, women are looking for candidates who will fix our economy, get our fiscal house in order and preserve prosperity and opportunity for our children and future generations. Republicans have the vision and the plans to save our country from fiscal insolvency and create jobs for all Americans."
