CONCORD, NH - Karen Testerman, Republican candidate for the United States Senate, applauded Kelly Ayotte for planning six town-hall-style meetings across the state this week.
"Once elected, our senators have the responsibility to return to New Hampshire and answer residents' questions about their votes in Washington and their opinions on upcoming issues," Testerman said.
"Kelly Ayotte has a history of doing just that. This week, she had planned to hold six open town hall meetings, where constituents can ask her questions that have not been pre-screened. That's a breath of fresh air.
"Jeanne Shaheen has failed in this regard. She has not made herself available for questioning. Jeanne Shaheen could learn a lot from Kelly Ayotte."
