Studio 550 - Think creatively this Valentine’s Day, Make Art Together

Think creatively this Valentine’s Day
Make memories that last forever: Make art together!

Manchester, NH- For those looking to do something different and memorable to celebrate Valentine’s Day, Studio 550 is hosting Date Nights in the pottery studio Friday and Saturday evenings throughout the month.

Participants will learn how to throw on the potter’s wheel side-by-side and each person will be able to select one of their creations to finish and fire. The pieces will be ready for pick-up approximately a month later, glaze-fired and safe for food or drink. Participants may also bring their own wine and chocolates!

There will be two Date Night sessions held each Friday and Saturday evening, one hour-and-a-half session starts at 6:00PM and the second one at 7:30PM. In some cases we are able to accommodate reservations other nights of the week. Contact the studio for special requests.

All materials and instruction are included for the couple for $60. Beginners are always welcome! There is limited space, so advance registration is required. For those looking for something not quite so messy, there is also the option of coil-building a project together.

For more information, see http://550arts.com, call 603.232.5597 or stop by the studio at 550 Elm St. in Manchester, NH.

"Studio 550 is a community arts center in downtown Manchester that believes art is for everyone, regardless of skill, age, or background.” says Programs Director, Monica Leap. “Everyone has the capacity to be creative. At a young age we know that inherently. As we grow older, we tend to forget. Studio 550 gives big kids and little kids alike an excuse to play.”
