Guinta For Congress - Guinta To Kick Off Listening Tour Next Week In Rochester

With 22,000 Granite Staters losing their insurance and major hospitals having issues due to Obamacare, Frank Guinta will launch a health care listening tour next week. During which, he’ll visit hospitals excluded from Obamacare’s insurance exchange, senior centers, businesses affected by Obamacare and more. He’ll hear from them about the solutions needed to fix the broken health care system.

The first stop on the tour will be next Wednesday, February 5th from 2:00-3:00pm at Rochester’s Frisbie Hospital. Frisbie is one of the 10 hospitals in New Hampshire not permitted to participate in the limited network of healthcare providers available to Granite Staters who purchase insurance through the Obamacare exchange. He will tour the hospital and meet with officials to discuss the impact this will have on resident’s access to care.

Some of the other stops on Frank's tour include:

February Stops

The Londonderry Senior Center

Portsmouth Regional Hospital

The Dover Community Center

March Stops

With Core Physicians at Exeter Hospital

Parkland Hospital

(More stops to be added)

Frank Guinta released the following statement: “Obamacare offers New Hampshire residents plans they don’t want, don’t need and can’t afford. Thousands of Granite Staters have lost their health insurance, access to hospitals in their backyard while their premiums skyrocket. It is long past time to focus on solutions to decrease costs and increase access to health care. Obamacare has failed NH. Frank looks forward to hearing from residents, business owners and those in the healthcare field about their needs.”

"Granite Staters deserve a health care system that offers access to health insurance that won’t bankrupt them, offers choice and easy access to health care services they need. Obamacare offers none of this. Solutions are within our grasp if Washington politicians would simply listen to those they represent and implement policies consistent with the needs of their constituents. "
